ISG108: Evaluating Damaged Jewelry Course

The Evaluating Damaged Jewelry course is a special DVD lecture presentation that follows the same format as the Insurance Continuing Education version of this course that is taught to insurance agents and underwriters. This course covers the following elements relating to the evaluation of damaged jewelry for insurance claims reporting:

  • Cause of Loss -v- Fault of Loss
  • Damage Events
  • Inherent Vice and Pre-existing Conditions
  • Fraud
  • Faulty Workmanship
  • Failure to Maintain
  • Salvage and Subrogation

 

Lessons: 8 plus 2 hour DVD lecture. Prerequisites: See Below
Gem Equipment Required: None

Prerequisite: In order to take the ISG Registered Gemologist Appraiser courses you must hold one of the following titles:
